T.G.I.F.
After I wrote the last post, I was petting my cat and found a lump under his chin! I called the vet's and took him in. Turns out, the vet believes it is just a cyst. She took a sample and found some cells that had infection. I'm to take him back on the 21st. Until then, I'm giving him antibiotic drops and (for 7 days) putting a cream on that spot. Needless to say, Wednesday was not a good day for either of us.
He seems okay. It's a challenge to catch him to give him the medi.

Other than that------I'm eating and not losing. My knee is almost healed. By next week, I'll be able to resume exercising. That'll help with the weight loss.

YIKES about the cat Tina! Hope it turns out OK.

We have a dachsund named Kramer. He is a weird puppy! He is 8 years old, so really not a puppy. He is on a pill twice a day for seizures. We give him the pills in a small bite of cheese. He loves cheese! He had seizures every now and then for a few years, but last Sept. (9/11 to be exact) he started a seizure that lasted more than 2 hours. We took him to the vet while he was still having it. She gave him meds to stop it, then she took him home with her for a couple days to keep an eye on him. She's great! I think he has only had a couple small seizures since that day.

Ate too much today, and didn't do any exercises.

It's Saturday-----what are y'all doing?
I don't have any plans. I just got back from the vet. I looked at this little bottle of medicine and it looked like I'd already given half a bottle and still have 6 1/2 days left. They said that was a common question---the bottle isn't filled to the top to begin with. And, since I'm giving such a small amount, it'll be enough. What a way to start a day! I had a feeling maybe the women in the office had written down the wrong amount to give---or something like that.

I fixed French toast for breakfast----r.c. bread with Egg Beaters in a pan using Pam. And, had Lite syrup. Very Good!!!!! Now, I'm going to try my exercise bike.

Hi everyone,

It has been a busy week around here. I had to do some presentations at the new teacher training on 2 different days even worked a little up at school. However the most important thing, I exercised 4 times this week
There are even more smilies!!! Yea!!!!

I go back to work officially on Tuesday the 13th. Will be in staff development all week, then the following Monday is a work day and kids come on Tuesday the 20th.

Tina, I hope your kitty is ok. I spent the day taking 2 of my dogs to the vet for shots. One of my dogs has a couple of lumps but the are fatty tissue. Animals, what would we do without them.

Better run! I'll try to be better this week about writing.

I'm planning to go into work in my room tomorrow morning while Tim has Cross Country practice. I want to get as much done this week, because our county fair starts Friday. I know I'll be there alot with the band booster tent and the band has different activities there during the week. Oh boy!!!

Well, I went to weigh in this morning, I'm up again. I've started writing everything down and will continue to exercise. Pat reassures me that I will gain this first month while gaining muscle and then I will start to lose. I certainly hope so!!

Tammy, have fun working in your room! I can't believe it is time to start back!! I go tomorrow and officially start!! The fair sounds fun!! I love fairsand festivities like them.

Tina, how are you doing? What's the weather like? Hot, I'm sure!!!

Off to watch General Hospital and then off to exercise at 3:30!

Tammy, can you believe that I've never been to a country fair?!!! Of course, we don't have them around here. I'd have to go elsewhere to find one. I wish you could take some photos and send them to us. Have a great time but watch the heat. Drink plenty of water.

Kady, don't forget about us. When do y'all start back to school? That's the question of the day, I guess.

I'm happy to say that my knee is doing great! The scab is starting to come off. Yuk.....

My family is hanging in there. My brother's surgery seems to have gone well. My mom is hanging in there. Still room for improvement. Been trying to stay close to OP but having a hard time. I think I gained the 3 I lost. Maybe not, I sure hope not anyways. Hope all is well with you and everyone else. Thanks for asking about my family. Any prayers are appreciated also. Well summertime is officailly over around here... school starts in the morning!! yucky! So we filled the new book bag, got the new clothes layed out for morning, labeled the supplies, and my daughter got to bed just after 10pm ..... and 6:30 comes much too early (I should home school her, then we can start at 10ish and be done by the time General Hospital comes on!)

Sis, its good to hear that your family is hanging in there. Just remember to do what you need to keep you hanging in there too!! Hope you didn't gain any weight back either.. take care of your self!

Way to go on your excercises Susan and your hubby is probably right... you might see the scales go up due to muscle increase, but on the bright side... you'll see the clothing sizes dropping faster!

It's 12:15 and I'm up already. I plan to go back to bed shortly. I was asleep and woke up thinking about school stuff. So I got up for a little while. I'm ready for the weekend already!!!
I've exercised everyday this week so far. I'm really proud of myself!!!! I'm not concerned with my gain, I know if the long run it will come off. I do feel better!
Better start heading back to bed and hope I go to sleep!!

I think I'm on the downward side. One pound was gone this morning. Yea!!! I've got a lot of work to do.

I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! lol I say that every year. I get so nervous! I'm already getting into that nervous mode and we don't start till the 26th!! It's so silly.

Tina, if I think of it next week, I'll take my camera and get some pictures at the fair. Not sure how to send them to show people, but maybe someone (HINT HINT HINT) could give me some advice.

Dee, new school clothes? Tim and I were talking about that this afternoon. We haven't bought anything! We did get him a new pair of shoes for marching band, but that's it. I don't know when we'll have time to go shopping for him since he's so busy fair week, BUT I'm sure I can make some time for myself!!!!! LOL

Susan, I've been waking up at night dreaming about school too! In my dream my classroom was moved, and it was remodeled, and it shrank, and the list goes on and on!!!
