Why can't cranberry juice be simple?

  • I've just used the cranberry pills-- they are more concentrated than drinking the juice, and no sugar.
  • I like cranberry juice mixed with vodka but that's probably not on anyone's plan.
Seriously though, is there any reason you have to take your 4oz at one time? If it is really hideous, couldn't you have 2 oz twice a day instead?
  • I too have bladder issues, and bad kidney problems. Once my bladder starts to hurt (kinda like a UTI) I chug about 2 bottles of 100% cranberry juice. I don't usually eat, I just drink as much juice as physically possible. I feel like it is the only thing that helps me.

Just to let you know I did this BEFORE I started dieting, there is no way that I would do that now. (wayyyyy to many calories!!!!)

Anyways, so once I started dieting I drink about 65 - 110 oz. of water a day. By bladder problems have gotten ALOT better! I also take a cranberry supplement a day. I still have issues but they have gotten a lot better.

So maybe you do not need to be drinking the juice. Try other options.

I would get the 100% juice and dilute it with water to help the taste...in fact, I think it's usually suggested (on the bottle) to dilute with water because it is so tart to drink straight. Or like honeybjones said, split it into 2-2oz servings so you can down it faster.
