  • Thanks for posting the link. The best part of this board is learning strategies that other people use to cope. I know that over time my strategies need shaking up at times and new ideas are helpful. I also conveniently forget things that work but I don't like to do, yes exercise. Just like losing weight we all need individual strategies to maintenance. I really found the eating out once a week rule something that I might need to consider. Everyones input is appreciated.
  • Hey Bin Gay! Glad to see you found it Love your mini introduction. It's a huge site with a lot of resources, have fun exploring!
  • Quote: I do take exception to her statement that water retention from salt is hard to lose; my experience is that it always goes in a day or so.
I'm glad you posted this Bill because reading that statement made me a bit concerned. If I am craving craving I know I can indulge in many lower cal high sodium foods that satisfy me without doing any long term scale damage. Then I started doubting.... But now I am reassured
  • I guess if you keep eating salty foods it's a longer term problem? I'm pretty much a 2 day salt woosher, myself.
  • Did anyone read Confessions of a Carb Queen? Her weight loss plan made a huuuuge deal of salt/sodium. It was a pretty good read.
