  • Quote: Plus, what I like about the number I've chosen is that I don't have to be neurotic about weighing and measuring. There's wiggle room so that if I accidentally eat a little more than a TBS of peanut butter, or 5 oz instead of 4 oz of chicken breast I still lose.
I totally hear this. I am eating an average of 1142 calories a day right now. Also, I measure but I don't have a kitchen scale and so with time I've come to guess that I'm really eating in the 1300s. I figure that I am consistent, at least, that's the key -- and low enough that I don't actually sneak into non-diet numbers if my apple is really the calories of two apples, or if my long-standing wine calculation (recent disappointment) was wrong. Now I get wine less. Bah. But anyway, I am thrilled for people who lose big eating more -- nothing wrong with that!
  • I just calculated my weekly average for the past 7 days including what I will be eating today and it comes to 1326 daily average and I have finally started moving down on the scales again.

I agree with WPF - If you can lose more eating more than kudos to you
