You won't really need it...it was just a general platitude.

I'm devastatingly untalented and I've created some fabulous things, if I do say so myself.

OH my goodness, there is still hope for me.
  • single crochet stitch anyone? * tickled*
  • I just learned to knit this year, and used the Kintting Help videos that Dragon had posted. VERY helpful! So far I've made 2 baby blankets, 2 scarves, and a Texas Longhorn dishcloth for my hubby. I'm now halfway through a skull washcloth for my 12yo girl, who is also picking up knitting with me. And yes, Ravelry can be VERY VERY addicting!
  • I crochet and knit.. sad to say that I haven't done it much since last year. I was trying to make a blanket by crocheting years ago.. It was expensive and it took FOREVER, needless to say I gave up... cut it in half and made two very fluffy, huge scarves lol, one for me and one for hubby.
I learned to crochet in college, made beanies and scarves. I convinced hubby's grandma to teach me to knit. It's so much more complex and slow (to me), but that could be because I've been crocheting so long.
  • I learned to crochet a couple of years ago. I had a surgery that kept me in bed for a while. I got bored so my mom taught me how to crochet. I crocheted a blanket, which I now call my 'adversity blanket'. I also crocheted a lot when I tried the first phase of the South Beach Diet. It kept my mind and hands busy.
