THIS WAS EXACTLY MY PROBLEM!!!!!
I'm tall, especially for a female, I'm 5'10 1/2. Which means I can weigh a little more and still be alright, but I've never "weighed a little bit more" I've always been a little fat.
I've tried diets before... but I could never stick to them cause I just loved to shovel food into my mouth, even if it was healthy food, I just couldnt stop eating!
Soooo,.. my cousin started going to this nutrition doctor, and like every other diet I've tried, I automatically figured it wasn't going to work until she told me that they give you a lot of stuff to supress your appetite, and to speed up your metabolism.
I've been on it since August 03 2009.
3 days short of 3 weeks.
I've gotten a shot every Monday, along with medication he gives, and I take other dietary pills he gave me the day I started.
I've worked out on a stationary bike for about 45min-1hr a day. I do a programed 30 minute work out, then the rest I do on the lowest resistance.. and I try to keep a steady speed of around 18-19mph.. I'll go as fast as I can for a few seconds then bring it back down. Then I'll lean back to tighten my abs and just hold it there for a while as I'm biking.
Plus it's a low-carb diet. he recommends 50 carbs a day. I eat about half that.. sometimes 30. 40 tops and thats been rare.
Starting weight- 210
Current weight- 197
I love this diet. I'm not sayin it's for everyone.. but maybe if you ever think you've ran out of options.. you'll think of that. It's actually easy. :]
Over-eating was my main & basic problem, cause it would lead to fatigue/me being lazy lol.. and that was it. I've had 3 small meals a day since the day I started, and it's even ok to have a snack, as long as it's low-carb.
Hope I've helped.
Either way, you're not doing bad by yourself. :] Keep up the good work, sweety.
