  • I've been doing some research regarding the new Healthy Choice All Natural Pumpkin Squash Ravioli, without actually going to the store and looking at the list of ingredients on the package. There is a whopping 600 mg. of sodium which is 25% of an average person's daily recommended intake! Besides that, this would definitely be a Phase 2 food, since it contains pumpkin and apples. Also, it is in a butter sauce - butter isn't allowed on SBD. Finally, I can't tell whether they are made of ww pasta or not.
That said, they do look tasty, and I think these would be something I'd be willing to try occasionally, but I don't believe they are 100% SB friendly.
  • You know, it seems to be an on going issue with pre packaged foods... THE HIGHG SODIUM!! It's incredible. Its much more healthy to cook your own meals and so much less of an impact on the environment. Kill two birds with one stone...
  • I know...the sodium numbers are way off the charts in so many items. What concerns me more though is all the artificial ingredients & additives. Those can't be healthy and I wonder what the long-term effect is on our bodies.
