  • At least they are covering all the bases, ya know? It's better to be safe than sorry.
  • Quote: Although I wish it was going to be sooner, I am glad that they are being cautious and taking the best care of you!
Sandi's right. I agree. Hang in there, it will get better!

  • I didn't realize you have a blood clotting disorder. I do too. I hate Heparin.

I really hope the surgery doesn't mess with any plans. That is one of my biggest issues with my surgery on tuesday. It is really crappy timing! If it is any comfort, my mom had her gallbladder out recently and she was feeling pretty darn good (maybe not perfect, but pretty good) in no time....a few days tops.
  • I have antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. The sucky thing is that it's so RARE that hardly anyone knows how to treat it.

Thanks for all of your words ladies. I know that what will be will be. I can't control THIS but I can control how i react. I had my tears, and fit yesterday and I'm moving on today. Yesterday was my birthday (33 ug) and had lovely family over for cake and icecream last night (I had one small chocolate cupcake and a 1/2 cup of vanilla breyers to the tune of 290 calories... OUCH!) and it was a good time. The cupcake tasted SUPER sweet and was yummy but not addictive yummy which was nice. It's nice knowing I can finally control myself around these types of things. As long as it's only twice in 8 months lol!
