Where Could I Possibly Be Going Wrong?

  • I suggest checking out T-Tapp.com.... I learned there something that helped understand why some people have the stomach bluge even if thin...and help get rid of it too

My roommate in college though in perfect physical shape had a "pooch" and it never went away. I didn't understand why all her sit-ups and watching her calorie intake didn't work it off. (we are both 5'11.)

Turns out she is a short torso... whereas I have a long torso. (Torso area.. top of hip to bottom of ribs) Meaning she has less space for all her internal organs than I do. Sit ups and dieting wouldn't get rid of her pooch (however she has the most awesome legs ever!!!)

But there is a move I learned at T-Tapp called Organs in Place (OIP) and Half-Frogs (HF). It will help with the stomach area. Check it out with the link if you want.

It's listed under the Try Before You Buy section. So it's free to check out.

    Best of luck to you!

  • Okay, well me and you are fighting the same thing.. I am where I am suppose to be for me height, my BMI is 23 and my body Fat is 31%.... But I am not losing the body fat in my lower stomach.. ugh!! But my legs are toner and my arms are too.. I just started taking a Kickboxing class once a week, praying that this is going to help that section.. But only time will tell. I intake between 1300-1500 calories a day and have a high protein/fiber diet with low fat!! and of course I have to watch my sodium too.. It is very discouraging knowing that you watch what you eat and exercise 5 days a week and nothing moves with the scales. But I feel good and my clothes fit me different but not a change in size... VERY,VERY DISCOURAGING.. But hey I am not going to let it get to me.. so don't give up.. it will happen.. Good Luck!!
  • Interesting!

Thats something that I never thought of before a long torso verses a short.. I am short torso.. so that is probably my problem.. My friend went from 227 to 145 and has a flat stomach and she has a long torso and she made the comment to me that I was built like her sister and she always complained about her lower stomach pouch.. Thanks for sharing that
