Hello today,it is Saturday,I had to say what day it was because they are all running together for me.Thanks everyone for the hopeful thoughts about my leg.I work in a psychiatric hospital and a violent patient was attacking a coworker and I ran to help, during the scuffle my leg got twisted and popped.I was unable to stand on it,had MRI and the tendon is ruptured. The therapy so far is to stay off it and keep it elevated and on heating pad.The osteo doctor says I won't need surgery but can perhaps start physical therapy next week. The employee health/workemans comp nurse is starting some funny buisness and we had some words. The other girl had her nose broken and fared worse than me.Ihave been doing psychiatric nursing 20 years and have never been hurt more than a slap or scratch, sign of the times, less staffing, sicker patients and little cooperation.
Anyway,it is good that it has given me time to focus on Beck and work through the new book.Had a good food day yesterday and so far today.Reading my cards before I get out of bed.I have a computer chair in the kitchen I can wheel around and I can cook some easy recipes.I have been trying some from the new Hungry Girl 200 cal or less book.I like both her cookbooks and she has a website.
wndranne-Wow what a work out,do you regularly work out like that? You probably enjoy it alot!
onebyone-6 pound weight loss, that is great! We will get there slow and steady.
twilit tera-Great job with declining the unplanned for cookies.I can understand being disappointed about staying home the weekend.I'm at home too on the couch surrounded by a mess my family is unconcerned about. It is very frustrating and the weather has been beautiful and I can't go anywhere! Were you injured or do you have Fibromyalgia?
RobinW-Sounds like you had a busy day but you were still able to use the skills you have learned to not overeat, great job!
BillBlueEyes-It is nice that you are still going strong supporting everyone here!Nice too that you let them put your DW elliptical where it would be best for her even if it could be a little in the way otherwise.
pattygirl63-When you said you were suprised how much you can eat on the plan I was thinking you must be using the Beck for LIfe book diet plan,I was suprised by this also.I get 2000 calories, that is quite a bit.I have just started the phase 2 also.
ChinaMaine-Great job staying on plan even after seeing a slight increase on scale, that always gets to me and throws me off so easy.

to the thread!
for planting stuff. Exercise plus changing your yard from one state to another - You must feel very accomplished.

I'm always so impressed by how strong you are in dealing with all this. I think a depression strategy is a good plan.
