  • I don't have any proper "after" pictures, so I snapped one in the mirror as I was getting ready to run this morning. I probably should have cleaned up first

  • Each and every one of you look really fantastic--thinner, younger, happier. You should each be so proud and I know you are. You have motivated me to post photos as well.

A photo taken of me last June is what really pushed me over the edge. I thought I really looked good that day. I got the photo in my email and could NOT believe it was even me. I looked nothing like I thought and kept thinking, "who is that?" Photos don't lie and I knew that.

Keep up all your good work ladies. You are all so inspirational.
  • kalikat- thats a good start photo, i think you can see a difference already in your face, judging from your avatar. Did you end up eating that fish?

Ttkm- great change! You have such a lovely defined waist now, great job

Thighs be gone-i would love to see your photos! I know that your posts have inspired me before. Photos dont lie, but thank god we take them, otherwise i dont know what would have been my wake up call
  • Here are mine...the first picture was taken in January 2007. The second one was taken at the beginning of March 2009.

  • Ironically enough, the photo in my avatar was taken after I went to my roommates cottage, it is just the angling lol

No I didn't eat the fish, we caught and released!
  • The main reason i started losing weight was because of a picture of me i saw ! i cant wait to scan it lol
  • Oooh, I don't really have a picture that "started it all," i.e. I when I saw the picture, that's what triggered me to want to lose weight, etc (especially cuz I've pretty much always wanted/needed to lose weight ) but I definitely DO have a couple "least favorite" pictures! I cringe every time I look at this one taken towards the end of my senior year of high school (should say May 2007, not 2008). I just look like a big huge blob! All chins and bulges and squinty little eyes that can barely be seen through all the face chub. I remember seeing that picture and being pretty shocked, because although I knew I was fat, I definitely did not feel like I was THAT fat. I was sure it was just an unflattering picture, but perhaps that picture was just the only accurate one I'd seen in a while! Heh. For comparison, the second pic is from a little over a week ago.

  • Star2Be.. you look freaking awesome.. you're almost at 100 pounds lost! Congradulations!
  • my before and 'current' (well plus five pounds I gained over the winter) are in my profile. still a work in progress - but I'm happy.
  • Val-

What a difference! How tall are you? Keep it up- you'll be at your goal in no time... ok, it will take some time, but sooo worth it! LOL
  • This wasn't exactly my "started it all" pic either but its definitely one I would never want people to see. I was also in shock thats how I ACTUALLY looked. I posted these in the mini goal section a lil while ago, but here are mine. GAG

  • That is probably the only picture I have of me at a very high weight (over 250lbs). I avoided the camera as much as possible and succeeded. I hated how manly I looked. The second picture was taken yesterday. I can see my bellybutton!
  • you all look amazingly different! i cant wait to see us all at our final goals
  • Lets see if this this works...

The one with my face in it was me at 18 and the very last time I took a full body pic until earlier this year. I was about 320 or so in that pic. the other one (without a face) is me around January of this year. This is my new before pic...60 pounds to go!

  • caligirl--wow..you are having wonderful success....and looking great too--what method are you using? Keep rockin' it!
