  • All you need to do is follow Eat to Live by Dr. Fuhrman. I've never been this small in the past 10 years and the weight is still dropping off. AND I have PCOS, so veganism usually made me gain weight. I've also never enjoyed the tastes and essences of produce as much as I do now. It's purely a lifestyle of indulgence and I can never go back. Totally loving it!
  • i dont think im strong enough, but the book skinny ***** makes a up a good vegan diet plan. they encourage not only staying away from animal products but also anything processed or that contains chemicals.

I am having a hard time with the same. However im only on and off vegan. I still eat fish and occasional dairy and eggs. I actually think as of today I am done with fish though.
  • I would really take a close look at "Mary's Mini," a simple plan by Mary McDougall (John McDougall's wife). The cool thing is you can have any amount of satisfying starches such as white potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash or corn (not rice by itself - not enough nutrients). It sure beats trying to get satisfied on nonstarchy veggies. It's worth a look. I can't post the link (not enough posts), but you can go to the DrMcDougall website and search for Mary's Mini.
  • Oh, the Mary's Mini is detailed in the June 2006 newsletter, too.
