I've done so very many extravagant things along the way that now that I'm nearing goal I don't really have any grand plans or material desires left. The rewards, very big and very small definitely helped to keep me on track and upbeat.

I have a few fitness rewards in mind. Riding the MS-150 and doing endless pull ups. That would be infinitely rewarding to me!

Boobs too. I'm getting some good tatas for Christmas.

I keep telling my hubby I want to pump my boobs back up, they have deflated with the weight loss. I'm a big chicken though, so I doubt I'll do it. I'm right there with ya though, I miss my big tatas!
My rewards have been clothes and jewelry. and more clothes!

The first reward, when I've lost 10 kg, is a massage. The reward when I reach goal is my trip to Melbourne. In between I'm not sure. I know there's going to be a bottle of expensive perfume, but I haven't figured out which perfume yet. There'll be another couple of rewards as well, but they definitely won't be food related.

This threa'ds a good reminder to set some rewards - I'd forgotten to do that. Although at the minute (only 10 days in) I'm on a smug-high and just logging calories and weight into DietPower is a real buzz, I should remember that won't last.

I love the idea of the boxes of clothes, I think I'll do that tomorrow. Currently I have two rather sad black dustbin bags of crumpled, no-fit clothes, I'll sort them into weights. I can imagine they treat of opening the boxes.

In the meantime, I'm going to day-dream about some non-food treats I could have, maybe soon!

that is such an awesome idea .. i should do something like that .. i was the same as you and always rewarded with food .. but once i ate that reward i was so off track and out of focus that i always ended up off plan by the next week .. i should start doing like you did get some boxes and put the weight i need to be to fit in them. i think for it to work better for me i would actually buy a new outfit to put in each box that would make me want to work even harder at this ..

My first reward was for 30 lbs lost and it was a pair of inline roller skates (exercise!) My 40 lb loss will be a fancy schmancy pedometer/calorie counter with tracking software and I'm unsure of what my big 50 lb goal is going to be, but whatever it is, BF IS PAYING FOR IT! *L*

well I have a few things linedd up.....I am not rewarding myself for pounds lost so much as weeks that I stayed on plan...THAT I can control. in 2 more weeks I am getting a totally new hairstyle and revamping the color. my next one after that will be a mani-ped.

my biggest reward (prepare to groan) is going to be a healthy normal sized body. there I said it.

one thing I am really looking forward to is being able to eat AND enjoy a meal....even an indulgent one....without GUILT and SELF RECRIMINATION. it seems like I don't even enjoy food anymore because I am always beating myself up for it. even if I don't....I pay for it later with too tight clothes and ...well you all know the drill.

I just wanna eat in peace! even if I have to watch my weight for the rest of my life...at least I won't feel bad for eating after I have been at goal for a while.

Remember those Italin charms? My buddy and I each ware one our first charm says 2009 it our cammentment that we will make this year ours and at every 5% of body mass gone we will add a new charm I have 5 more lbs to go to get my first Goal chram!!

I like the idea of rewards. Tonight in honour of 75 lbs lost my hubby and I are going to go see Slumdog Millionaire. I AM having popcorn but I've allotted for it in my daily calorie goal so I'm good.

When I reach 100 lbs lost, my mom, grandma and hubby are all giving me $100 each. And I am taking that and putting towards my puppy that I am getting at the beginning of april! So my show quality rough collie pup (to the tune of $1000) is my 100 lbs lost reward Go big or go home right? lol!

Clothes definitely clothes.

I agree- last weekend I had some nachos and I felt so guilty about eating them that I didn't enjoy them and threw out half of it! My hubby got them for me cuz he got popcorn and he acts like if he's eating I should eat- but lucky HIM he can eat a cow and be fine- that man probably eats like 2500+ calories a day and doesn't gain- grr.

I bought a pair of running shoes when I lost 25 pounds. When I hit goal, I'll probably buy a dress in single digit sizes and get a pedicure!

I'm also into the rewards for staying on plan. I think it is a great idea, especially for when things are going slow on the scales. I've got some little things planned out. Mostly buying some music on iTunes, since I'm not into the mani/pedi/hair stuff. But I've decided that for my big reward I'm going to Surfing Camp!
