I think I was just so negative yesterday and I want to say Thank you!!!! and I did binge, but, not as bad as I thought I would. or could have. I just had a lot of carbs and that was one of the things I have been trying to stop...

Last night I went to the grocery store and I was going to buy Double Stuffed Oreos. Instead I bought myself flowers. Red roses... to symbolize that I love me...

It is really hard sometimes to go through knowing that you are better qualified for a position and have them not talk to you but hire someone who said that they want the job bcs they could buy more clothes... What the ****...

Anyway, thank you... and all of you are right... time to get off the pity potty and keep going...

I'm sorry you felt like people didn't respond - we just have to put ourselves out there as hard as it may be - even here. Keep taking those steps, reaching out, listening, finding a regular thread to post on - whatever fits you best. The relationships I've built here at 3FC have been invaluable in their support - but it didn't come over time. It is give and take just as a face to face relationship is.

Helloooo...you're never alone, even though we all feel that way from time to time. I know I do. I love the idea of buying flowers for yourself. I have done this as well and it makes me focus on positive things.

*HUGS* It is hard when one feels ignored, especially out in the world. I think there is some of discrimination against people who are larger, but there are a lot of people out there who just look and appreciate you for you. They don't care if you are fat, purple, pink, thin, or whatever.

I agree with the ladies. At the beginning its hard since people did not know if I would stick around. Even online there is a bit of a sense of checking out if you are sincre or just checking everything out. I have been here almost a year. Was off line Nov & Dec. And back again. I pick a few places where I like the action and stick to them mainly. I also randomly respond to new posts. But really dont expect much connection there except to maybe put in my two cents worth! I know sounds kinda egotistical. But hey my kids dont listen maybe someone else out there like my opinion or not. But I got to say it without a kid interupting! LOL. I noticed your 300+ loss on TBL Great Job!

Gorging is never the answer...I am sure that at some point, we all have the same emotions and feelings. We have to rely on the inner strength that we all have (and it is there) to keep on seeing us through. We are all here...

Hope you are feeling better now. Like others have said, I don't think anyone was intentionally ignoring you. If you look back at the Introductions section I bet there were 50 new members a day from December 26th through January 3rd. Hundreds of New Years resolutioners joined in that week to 10 days. Out of curiosity I went back and pulled up about a dozen people, and only 2 out of the 12 I checked posted past the 2nd or 3rd day. Not very good odds! I personally have received several PMs from new members wanting advice and it can get a little annoying when you sit down and type out a huge long supportive e-mail, and the person quits a few days later and never posts again. SOOOO my point to all this rambling is, I think that sometimes people want to make sure you are serious about getting your health and life back together before they invest a lot of time answering tons of questions and nursing broken hearts.

The way I see it, you had already decided you where going to stuff yourself before you ever started this thread, but writing it and blaming others for ignoring you, and the interviewer for not hiring you made the binge not your fault but everyone else's. See what I'm getting at? I've been there/done that...you can't kid a kidder!

Yes, LoriBell, I do. But, before I wrote that note (and this is not an excuse) I did try to reach out. Luckily, since then I have met some really great people that I have connected with so that I wont do this again... and I have done well so far. I did if you noticed thank everyone for what I knew was a bad day and that I realized that I needed to do this for me. I did not know how to check everything I had posted before now - but do now and have noticed that I am not on here alone...

But, I do appreciate you being in my face a bit about me deciding to binge before I got on... I like when people call me out... I really do. It means that you mean the best for me and for others

You should do this...when I saw this thread I thought I would check older threads I had started or older comments I had made and a ton of people responded! I just never realized because I just forgot about them...I think you just lose track with such a huge website and so many threads going on.

What a wonderful idea about the roses. Roses are my absolute favorite flower. I think if I make my Valentine's Day Mini-Goal (or get close) I will treat myself with a big beautiful arrangement of roses. Thanks for the inspiration!
