  • i like music from the 70s... so i haven't really heard of any of these new bands! i feel out of touch.

anyway, here's music that gets me pumped:

The B52s--Love Shack, Rock Lobster, Roam, pretty much anything

Queen--Fat-Bottomed Girls (**** yes), Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust, etc etc etc

Cheap Trick--Surrender, I Want You to Want Me, The Flame, Dream Police, Down, etc etc etc

    and finally

The Clash--Police on my Back, The Magnificent Seven (probably my favorite song ever), Radio Clash, Brand New Cadillac (close second... super dancey and 1960s hair flippy), London Calling, Rock the Casbah, I'm Not Down, Train in Vain...

just get the album London Calling and give it a listen. it's pretty fantastic. The Clash are my favorite band on the planet.
