  • I thought it was weird that it asked about what form of birth control you use... ?? Why would using condoms versus the pill make a difference? Does anyone know?

Likliehood of producing a kid, and kids age you? lol
  • haha i guess that's true.
  • It might be because hormonal contraception is associated (although rarely) with increased risk of stroke, blood clots that can travel to the lung and cause really really bad things to happen, and other such things typically in women over 35 and those who smoke.
  • Yay, I thought for sure it would say I was older than I am, but...
My actual age is 23 and my real age was 20!
  • I'm 27.4 in real life, but my Realage is 28.4. Apparently its because i don't know my actual blood pressure or cholesterol, and i'm on medication for depression. I guess its good, i'm the actual age i am for the most part.
  • My actual age is 25.5, and my real age was 21.5.

I liked most of the advice on eating more veggies and getting more of specific vitamins.

But...I was really offended when one of the things on the main page that made me 'older' said: You take too many prescription medications. Maybe the real age folks should discuss that with my doctor... I have enough personal issues with the 7 prescriptions that I have to take daily with out a website judging me. (I go through bouts of 'unfairness' thinking in my head and then think that I am a bad person because other people have it worse.)

Though, you know, I guess that if I stopped taking the medication that keeps my heart beating regularly and my severe asthma in check, my age would stop going up...because I would stop living.
  • I was worried, but the results were good!

I am 27.4 yo, but my RealAge is 25 yo--yay!!
  • My calendar/actual age is 26.7 however my Realage is 22.8! whoo hoo
  • That was quite a long and detailed questionairre to fill in. I too am waiting for the results to be displayed, I shall announce them when they come through!
  • My real age is 24.3 and my actual age is 25!
  • My chronological age is 29.5 and my Real Age is 28.3!

Although one of the "bad" things was that I don't have a dog! Haha...I'm terrified of dogs, so that's never going to happen
  • Calendar Age 39.9 Real Age 39.2

I tried modifying a few things that can change in the next several months, which get me down to 37.2.

Some of this I can't change:
Family History of Breast Cancer (but then it doesn't ask me if I have mammograms)
Not having a dog - okaaaay

    Some is inaccurate:
Assuming I don't get enough of several vitamins just because I don't take a supplement.
It thinks I'm doing a bare minimum of exercise, and I just don't think that is true - although I will be adding a little more this year.

    Some is due to unknowns:
Need to check my blood pressure and cholesterol and resting heart rate.
  • Well, I'm not sure how accurate my results are since I'm 17 and the youngest age it would let me input was 20, but my real age was 17.5. So, I'm six months older due to being overweight, not knowing my heart rate, vitamins, blood pressure, etc.
  • This is very funny. I did the test this morning and my results are awesome! My actual age is 21 and my real age is 14.7. I'm guessing that's really good? I'm older because I don't know my cholesterol levels, don't floss enough, have a high BMI, have headaches, and I'm not getting enough whole grains (I'm allergic to wheat, so I stay away from bread, etc.)
