I just got some lotion from Lush called Charity Pot. It's very creamy, and doesn't leave you feeling oily

I like my Olay Quench--- not greasy, lasts a long time... moisture-wise, nice subtle scent and a big bottle that lasts a long time. Couldn't ask for anything more.

i suggest you try these brand there lotions are very light and easily absorebed.

I like Kiss My Face aloe and olive oil. It is a bit pricey, but organic and wonderful. My whole family will use it, including my husband and children which makes it worth the money. I just couldn't imagine my husband trying my Olay Quench - though that also gets my vote.

I love anything and everything L'Occitane! It is pricey though. QVC is a good place to find great deals on L'Occitane products.

I have several different moisturizers I use every day. For the face, Oil of Olay Reginerist and also the eye serum. It's expensive, about $30 a jar, but a jar lasts 2 months using it twice daily, and it has made a dramatic difference! It's totally worth it.

For body, I use plain, store-brand Vitamin E cream all over in the morning and Palmer's Cocoa Butter at night. (I am on a very low carb plan and the smell of the Cocoa Butter, since it smells so chocolately, makes me nauseated, so I only wear it at night when I won't notice it as much).

After I put on the Vitamin E cream in the AM, I then add just a dab of Crabtree & Evelyn's rosewater hand/body lotion with shea butter. It smells wonderful--the vitamin E cream has almost no scent at all.

I am very fortunate in that I was born with a pretty good complexion, but the difference the vitamin E cream and the Cocoa Butter have made has been really dramatic. And, both are inexpensive, particularly compared to designer brands that don't work as well.

I am going to have to pick a few of these and start experimenting....And yes I am going to Google Dry Brushing as soon as I am done typing....hehe...Thanks again!

I really like Aveeno... usually buy the economy size with the pump on it, especially in the winter! The pump is great too because it's hassle-free for putting it on directly after the shower.

BBW has some great shea butter lotions in their True Blue Spa line, too! There's a Mega Butter that has 4 different kinds of butter (mango, aloe, avocado, and shea) in it that I love! These are great options if you don't want an over-powering fragrance.

I also really like the Aromatherapy line from BBW which is lighter and plant-based. The body butters from The Body Shop are great, too. The thicker the product, the less you'll need so it'll last you longer than a "thinner" product.

What a lot of people don't realize though is that exfoliating is a must! Especially in the dry winter months. If you're slathering moisturizers on super dry skin and not seeing results, it's because the dry skin isn't going anywhere!!! (I see this a lot with knuckles in the winter... ick!)

Another common misconception is that lotions with alcohol in them are drying. This is not always true. Typically the alcohols used in higher-end lotions (Cetyl, Cetearyl...) are fatty alcohols. These act as emolients to keep the water-based and oil-based ingredients from seperating.

I like Olay Quench lotion and Neutrogena Body Butter.

AVEENO!! I use the Positively Radiant face cream, face cleanser, and body lotion. They even out my skin tone. My face glows and looks almost spotless. The dark spots around my mouth disappear.

DOVE cream oil lotion is my fav one! Its like 4 bucks and my skin has never felt softer.

I work at a hospital and my hands get so dry this time a year. My vote is Aveeno. The one with the pink ring around the pump (creamy moisturizing oil) b it's non-greasy!

The BESt lotion I have ever used also happened to be one of the cheapest. Go to the dollar store and get a tub of petroleum jelly, some baby lotion, and either a lotion with vitamin e or some vitamin e soft gels. When you get home, mix them all together ( puncture the vitamin e pills if that is the route you go). You can then scent it however you like and the whole thing is cheap as dirt

Another vote for aveeno, i have a cooling menthol one, its great, very light scent and not greasy

I use Jergens, it's Cherry Almond scented but it's a very light scent. I have dry skin really bad in the winter & it works wonders on me. I can still feel my soft skin at the end of the day, it's wonderful. You can get it Walmart.

Oil of Olay Quench is the only thing that stopped the dry skin and itching for me.
