i have this problem to and i usually keep the carbs around 5 to 10 i know a small amount but i get touchy with this before bedtime and always protein or just protein, cheese low fat cheddar or a slice of low fat chicken, something like that, bedtime to morning is always my worst time of the day
I had this problem and for 2 years they have been trying to straighten me out. My diabetic doctor put me on Januvia at night and starlix at breakfast and dinner. She said Januvia has been sucessful for the dawn effect. I have really lowered my carb servings and mostly only eat protein. I have been expierancing low blood sugars for the last week(which has never happened!!) and my morning sugars have been perfect!! I am actually losing weight!!
