  • Yummy! These sound so good, I think I'm going to have to give them a try.
  • I love these. I saw them on the Pioneer Woman's website and made them that same day. They've become a staple in our house now. They're so yummy and they help satisfy my potato craving.

    .
  • YUM! That looks and sounds brilliant. I'm a sucker for potatoes.
  • I made these yesterday and served them with fat free sour cream. Yummy!!! I'll be making these again. I just used a bit of sea salt on mine as I was too lazy to take all the herbs and seasonings out of the cupboard to find something else to sprinkle on. I used pan spray instead of the oil and no one complained. They'll just think that's how they are supposed to be.
  • I made these the other night to serve with steaks for company. Everyone was "how do you make these?" It's embarrassing how easy they are!
  • I just spent an hour on the PW website. Love it!!!! (thanks for a new time waster---although it is really good info....and she cracks me up)

I get caught up in her blog, too! I love it when I find a good blog!
  • PW is one of the first websites I visit in the morning. I absolutely love her.

The crash hot potatoes are really great. They are on the menu this week, actually.

I just love how crispy and crunchy they are.
  • Quote: We make these a LOT ... they're yummy. And if you do use the small red potatos, you can actually eat 3/4 of them for one single serving.

    .
At first I read this and was like....Hot DA*N! I can eat three quarters of them!....and then realized you meant 3-4....definitely not as exciting
  • Wow, these sound delish - and we have lots of potatoes from DH's garden. And oh, yeah, like I needed another blog to read too.... BUt really thanks.
  • Love the PW website!

I just had to try this for breakfast! I nuked one small potato. Put it on a piece of foil sprayed with OO. Put potato on foil, mashed as directed, sprayed with OO, salt, pepper, rosmary as directed. Stuck in toaster oven on 450 until browned. If you are only making one or two for yourself, this saves dishes, oven heat etc. Came out just fine!
  • Glory I made these Friday night. Had lots of guests over. They were a HUGE hit. For me, they were perfect. I haven't eaten potatoes, other then sweet in a while. I was more then satisfied with one potato. Man they were good. I will definitely make these again and again. My kids couldn't get enough of them. And they too loved the website. Thanks a bunch.
  • Glad you liked them, RR!!
  • Not only do I love potatoes cooked this way, PW is now on my favorites - she's a riot!
