  • You can do it! Great start! I'm pulling for you!
  • Great Job! I am pulling for you as well!
  • Thanks guys. Day 5 down. Did weights today (upper body) and really pushed it and felt a great sense of accomplishment. My body is incredibly sore and tired from all this new work but I am overall feeling a lot better.
  • Did you start at 205 lbs??
  • Yes I started at 205 on Monday. Today I am holding at 198 again.
  • Not feeling so great today. It was like 95 degrees and no a/c and I was just pooped all day. Thank god I did my cardio at 8am! I ate OP, did my exercise thing but I dunno I am not going to be surprised if my weight stays the same for another couple of days. Tomorrow is the cheat day, eat what I want and no exercise. Um I think not. I will walk tomorrow if nothing else and I am only going to cheat for one meal not all day. Truth is, I don't really crave the same stuff anymore. I sure don't want fast food and my best friend told me if I ate pizza I'd probably get the runs since I haven't had anything fried in a week LOL! I am thinking sushi and one Coke. The rest of the day just stick to my meals. I guess I will see how I feel in the morning. Maybe I am getting sick and won't want anything but soup hehe.
  • Day 8 today and still OP.
  • You're doing great! I might see if I can keep up with 12 weeks too
  • Wow what an inspirational thread! Keep up your great work!
  • Wow!! 9 lbs in 8 days!! That is great!! You are such an inspiration!! Thank you so much!! I read your very first post and I thought about starting too, but didn't. Now i wish I have.

In other words, you inspired me to do the same!! Thank you!! They do not have a body for life programme over here, but I am going to go to the gym 6 times a week and stay on plan (calorie counting).

Good luck to you. 11 weeks to go!!
  • Thanks everyone. One of my little "therapy" sessions from the book had me list things I wanted to accomplish in the next 12 weeks, and one of them was to inspire others to push themselves after seeing that I did it. So I am happy if this inspires anyone to as Nike says "just do it"!!!

I did lower body weights today, did great, and now I am packing my entire house alone, so I bet that is some extra cardio! And my husband comes in this week (from a 14 month deployment to Iraq).....hahah lots of cals to be burned later on this week!
  • Onto day 9. I am up 2 pounds from cheat day and holding. Weird. Oh well maybe it's muscle building? I am down in inches especially in my legs. A few in the waist and 1" in my arm
  • Maybe something about that cheat day.........

    Jay
  • Yeah I think I am not going to be taking too many more of those. And to be honest yes I cheated but I didn't ingest 10,000 calories. Oh well.
  • I almost cheated yesterday but made it through. Frustrated as I have stalled and have not lost/gained in three days. I feel better though physically and my workouts are getting better. Hoping by the end of the week to have lost something though. I like to be rewarded for my efforts!
