You are doing just fine! It's hard on the message boards because our tone doesn't come across the same as if we were in person and it's easy to take things the wrong way. I think that's what happened - people just took things the wrong way, because they don't know you and how you would really sound in real life saying those same things!

Hahaha that is pretty much my entire life... and not just on posts...

Today my friend was commenting on his external hard drive and I said, "At least you've got a hard drive, and not a floppy disk!"

And everyone just stared open-mouthed.... until I realized the implications of what I said...

I am late posting on this, but I wanted to add that yesterday I had some guy flip me off while I was driving to work. I honestly have no idea what I did to him. There are times when I might deserve it, but this time I was just driving to work!!!!! So, I guess I offended him without realizing it.

Did I kill it??

I think Threadkiller is kind of a cool, like, 3fc superhero name. I wouldn't mind being the threadkiller.

I have a strange feeling this one's going to go on for awhile. I've killed off quite a few threads myself.. so who will be the first to change their user name ? to ThreadKILLER....
