  • It is possible that you have more energy due to the vitamin B in the pills. Vitamin B is often put into diet pills because it is a mood enhancer.
  • That is interesting about vitamin B. I didn't know it was a mood enhancer. The first week or so on Insulite I was in a really good mood and not letting stress get to me. But after the first week or 2 that wore off. Maybe my body adapted to the vitamin B? I still have more energy(usually) than before.
  • Hi Everyone, I take Metformin, Yaz, Spirinolactone & progesterone cream (because I don't always menstruate). When I lived in AZ, I had an endocrine specialist, this was helpful because they aren't just guessing, they're very familiar with PCOS. But when I moved to Oregon, to a small town, I see a nurse practitioner who continues to prescribe and do my labs and she makes sure to do comprehensive panels for PCOS info. She is also someone who like holistic medicine & I plan to take her a print out of the Insulite System to see what she thinks. I also want to ask her about Inosistol, heard some claims about taking 4 grams of the powder daily will help. Of course I don't like being on meds, I'd rather not, but I don't get off of them because they have helped me significantly over the last 4 years. That is why I'm hesistant to stop taking them before I consult with my provider next month. I'll let everyone know what she thinks. My biggest symptoms at the moment are that I don't always have a period every month, and I can't lose weight even with exercise. I'm going to revamp my diet as I know that's a change I can make now.
