Where's my appetite?

  • I have found that the "hunger" feeling leaves me every time I eat the "Low Carb" way of life. I do get hungry for breakfast - which is good since my tummy hasn't had anything for more than 12 hours - but the rest of the day, I kinda have to force myself to eat. I do plan meals for dinner and just scrounge for lunch if I remember. This way of eating is just the strangest thing. ( I had forgotten that this happens as it did in the past when I ate this way).

    Does anyone else have this happen?

    I have the same issues when following the Atkins eating plan as you do. In fact, yesterday when I returned from my pool aerobics, I got very busy in the greenhouse after I realized I had a bug infestation on a few tomato plants. Late that afternoon when I finally made it over to my neighbors for dinner that she prepared for us, I ate so fast I threw up. I am diabetic and I must eat something every few hours. I read somewhere that if you eat any of the Atkins products you will not lose weight. I did put a bar in my pocket today to remind me to eat something today and I felt better having an afternoon snack. I hope it doesn't hinder my losing.
