  • Quote: Ok. So I had a chance to talk to Melissa this weekend and we have come to the decision that we are doing away with the badge log completely.

Originally I was going to continue the beach hopping threads and just do away with the log, but both the black and red teams have other exercise challenges set up so we are just going to let the teams handle their exercise goals individually.
Just some feedback for future BL's. I think it would have been better to have had just one exercise challenge...the badge one. The individual team captains (if possible), could have just taken care of their own team's badges (or had someone else do that for their team if they didn't have time - I would have been glad to help). It didn't make sense to me that there was a main exercise challenge (the badges one) and then a couple of teams having separate exercise challenges...maybe I didn't see a posting as to why that occurred. For some reason, the badge challenge was what was really getting me going, so I will miss that a great deal...maybe others found that very motivating too and something like it can be created the next challenge (and only have one main exercise challenge). Just my 2 cents (for what its worth). Anyway, thanks for everyone's efforts!
  • The main flaw with the badge challenge is that I took it upon myself to make the idea with out consulting Melissa and Julie. So I didn't expect them to take the job that I created.

As far as the other exercise challenges, since you are new, we've always had a situation where there are more than one exercise challenge. We've never been able to curb it, and I don't believe in limiting team motivation tools.
