  • When I went in for my tattoo 3 years ago - I originally wanted it on the middle of my back (spine near top of neck). He explained that if I'm losing weight, it may shrink a little weird, and talked me into putting it on my shoulder blade.

Good decision, it has shrunk with me and the color seems to be more vibrant! if that makes any sense.
  • I've got tattoo's up and down my arms. I'm worried that they are going to get a bit distorted as I lose weight. I think I've come to the conclusion that I will just get them fixed once I've met my big goal. It will fix my concern and it will be a nice reward!
  • I got all of my work before I gained all the weight, so I can't opine on what might happen after a loss, but I can tell you what happened to my tats after my gain.

I landed up with stretch marks all over my hips from weight gain. I gained it all AFTER I got my tats. The tats on my back look fine, but the one on my hip is, well, a little squishy looking. Between the stretch marks and cellulite under it look horrible. I can't imagine that it will get any better once I start losing inches on my hips and the skin gets a bit saggy.

Next one's going on my ankle! Bony is better. More painful, but better.
