  • JANET, first of all, I am so happy to hear that Matthew is home again--what a miracle! I prayed for him just this morning. That is a concern that he isn't eating much yet; I hope that he will get a good appetite back again very soon. He needs to keep his strength up in order to keep healing. Please remiind your brother and sil that we are still praying for him. And second, I want to thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful response to me regarding my regaining so much of the weight I had lost. You made me feel really OK about myself. I was so afraid to post my confession to you ladies. You are sweet to have confessed about your own weight gain; and I certainly wouldn't want *you* to stop posting because you had slipped a little! And yes, it is very sad how so many people judge their worth on how much (or little, as in the case of the girls in the pageant) they weigh. We are all the same in God's eyes; if we only knew that fully! Anyhow, thanks so much for being so nice about it, it meant a lot to me.

Did anyone see the CBS program tonight (Sunday night), "9/11"? It was done very well, and in good taste. I admired the restraint and responsibility the photographer showed, a French gentleman who had set out last summer to do a piece on one of the rookies of the New York Fire Department, and found himself in the middle of the terrorist attacks. It was very sobering and touched our hearts deeply.
