Yup JuleeCeeS, I am in Gainesville. Hopefully in a year or so I will be Dr. Cando and a proud UF alum. I love Gainesville and I will be sad to leave when I graduate and take a faculty position at "some other" university.
  • Like most of the others I'm kinda of the mind of wait and see...

I have sorta picked 150 as something to shoot for since I vaguely remember that being my "average" weight when I was about 16. I've been over 200 since I was 19 years old though so I hardly remember what being thin is like. (That's 15 years!)

However I'm starting to feel pretty good about myself. The charts still say I'm obese until I hit 180... so I definately would like to get under that but I'm going to have to see how my body really feels then. Like some of the others I work out a lot and since I've started triathlon training (running especially) I've gained some crazy muscle. So I have to account for that weight too... so if I end up at 170 that's fine by me. I'd like to get a body fat test done though when I feel I'm close. I'd like to get under 25% ideally.

To be honest though if I couldn't lose a pound more while I'd be slightly unhappy... being 206 is WORLDS better then 302 I can't even begin to tell you...
