  • Hate FREE donuts
At the office, managers often bring in Krispy Kreme donuts when a milestone is successfully met. Lots of them, with all their over sweet chocolate icing and trans fat. Just have to ignore them, which doesn't bother the true believers who get more. I do remember that Krispy Kreme's sure go down easy.

Completed Beck Program-day 42. You’ve met your goal. Congratulations!
  • I always keep food at work for emergencies! I stock up when things are on sale and keep them in the freezer and my desk drawer!

    Donuts have nothing on me!
  • Our office has weekly donuts and on top of it people will often bring in baked goods to share. Temptation is everywhere. It gets even WORSE during the holiday season where it seems as though every day there is some new unhealthy item brought in by somebody as an act of kindness. The sad thing is once I brought in a huge beautiful fruit platter and it sat there mostly uneaten. I must also note this was the only "goodie" brought in that day. Other days when donuts, bagles, cookies or muffins are brought in those are gone in a snap! Go fig!
  • "Found food" was one of my downfalls. I'm doing much better at avoiding it. Especially if I have a choice of healthy options on hand.
  • For the record, donuts are my ultimate weakness. I have had to resist them three times in two weeks. But, happily, I managed!

Unfortunately, I am someone who often exacerbates the "found food" problem by bringing in anything I can't keep at home (hello, Easter candy!) for my workmates to enjoy...
