  • Quote: my issue isn't feeling hungry after i eat, but the NEED to have something sweet. I cannot cut desserts out no matter how hard I try. I HAVE to have something sweet or my meal is not complete and it nags at me.

No one EVER eats dessert because their hungry..so why must I eat it?

one of my daily goals i no junk (ie cookies, cake, candy) and there is like 23109283091823lbs of chocolate at my house from valentines day...gah.
Throw out the chocolate. I know, I know, it sounds harsh. But if it's not an option, it's not, well, an option! Ha-ha. Also, find healthy sweets for dessert. I will eat a non-fat yogurt (um, yeah, the same ones I can't seem to eat for breakfast, lol) in all these yummy dessert flavors like banana cream pie, key lime pie, cappuccino...etc. Also, Philly Swirl pops are amazing. They are low fat. If you do WW, they have 0 and 1 point yummy desserts in flavors like cotton candy, fudge, caramel apple, etc. I don't care for sweets much but when I do, these are the things I go for.

Now, my down fall is that I DON'T care much for sweets so I always want food-food.
  • Yay, I'm not the only one... But I feel it has helped that my actual stomach has shrunk so now less food fits in. I try to drink a large glass of flavoured water and a slice of toasted rye bread if I'm still seriously hungry after a meal. Or just have a coffee, it just tastes so different it breaks the cycle of eating.
  • I had a cup of coffee last night after my dinner and it helped so much! I was sitting there after i had eaten feeling physically satisfied but simply wanting more, I sipped the coffee slowly and it sort of took my mind off things and got me through
