Valentine's Day Dilemmas!

  • My dad sabotaged me and sent me and my husband a BROWNIE SAMPLER PACK for Valentine's Day!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRGH!


    Though I will say i had a V-Day lunch with my husband... and ate Mexican food, which wasn't the best but it could have been worse. I still went to the gym and did 50 minutes of cardio, though!!

  • My three year old boy said he'd take me out to dinner, he's counted out about four dollars that he's earned from chores... then he changed his mind and decided he wanted to go to the movie store and rent movies!

    I'm just trying to STAY AWAY from restaurants... but as for Italian, how about a salad, soup and some chicken with red sauce (and eat half) and you have to have at least a half glass of wine on Valentine's Day.

    Then come home and work it off with lots of sex tonight?
  • personally, i would go. if this is really something that you are doing to change your life you have to allow yourself these things. i mean, are you never going to eat there again for the rest of your life? if you do plan to eat there again sometime then you are basically just dieting. i would say go, and make healthier choices. for example... i went to steak and shake last night and had a salad, a small fry, and a jr. frozen yogurt shake. it had more calories still than a usual meal, but i didn't go crazy and was still able to enjoy myself.
  • dh and i planned to go out for dessert last night...so i ate good all night and then we shared a creme brulee...but i made sure my calories were ok to allow for dessert. Don't fret...just relax and either give it to someone else or make the brownies and have DH take them to work
