Well, we had a tree come down in the back yard. It's one of the ones that line the back fence. Several of them have come down in the past. We had to tie them to the fence. I'm ready to cut this one down and let the others fill the space. However, we can't get out there to cut it until it stops raining.

Yesterday was pretty bad for awhile and today it's raining, but not as much wind. I didn't get out at all yesterday!!! It's good to get the rain though...but not so much at one time!! We had a couple of trees that were starting to fall over in the back, but my husband went out and staked them up...they seem OK now.

I hope everyone is OK!!!

6 towels later....just finally got them washed.

We lost internet and cable for 24 hours...still, can't complain - we're the only block in a 10 block radius that has power. EVERYONE in town is out, and has been since yesterday. I feel particularly bad for my locally owned grocery store...all of their refrigerated stock had to be pitched.
