I would like to add that while I am absolutley in love with the evan healey brand.. lush cosmetics makes an incredibly similar product to the blue lavendar facial milk - it's called angels on bare skin and the composition is different - it's a solid you need to mix with water to make a facial wash, but it even SMELLS the same but ends up being a little rougher on the skin because it has some crunchy bits in it, but it is just as fantastic.
also, check out suki - i got a sampler pack of some of thier products, and they're great too... i work for whole foods and get lots of samples and full size testers from time to time of lots of different product lines so if you ever have any questions, feel free to PM me.

I'm glad I found this thread! I am looking for healthy ways to treat my blemish prone combo skin. I just started using just plain EVOO (for hair and skin) then read somewhere that mixing several vitamin E capsules with it helps. But I think I'm going to try the castor oil/evoo method first. Like I said before, my skin is combo, VERY oily on my nose and kinda rough, always seems to have bumps and/or blemishes.

I am glad to have found this tread as well. I am always in search of skin care that are not damaging with harmful chemicals.

Two of my favorite skincare products:

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil On sale now, $20 ($4 off) for 6.7 fluid oz., through 1/31. I just ordered 2 bottles of this online at www.dhccare.com. It's pretty costly but it cleans off all make-up, even water-proof mascara, but leaves my skin really soft and smelling nice. Plus I have super sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all. You can order a catalog online too for $2 (but comes with a $5 coupon off your first order) that comes with 4 free samples, one of which is the Deep Cleansing Oil No animal testing by this company.

This oil does contain phenoxyethanol & propylparaben though, which 3Beans' link says are not so hot. Phenoxyethanol is the aromatic ether alcohol, used as a fragrance ingredient and preservative... and Propylparaben is the ester of n-propyl alcohol and p-hydroxybenzoic acid, used as a fragrance ingredient and preservative too.

Avalon Organics Hand & Body Lotion in Lemon Smells divine and great for after showering or after washing off my face at night. No animal testing, parabens, harsh preservatives, mineral oil, artificial colors or synthetic fragrances, it says on the bottle. I adore the smell of this lotion, mmm. I got my bottle of it at Stop & Shop at the end of one of the Health & Beauty aisles in a separate sale offering, a few weeks ago. Ingredients are also 100% vegetarian and hypo-allergenic.
