  • mare: We were simul-posting! Have a great day and enjoy that salad! It sounds yummy...although I can't do bleu cheese! Yuck!
  • I am NOT procrastinating.....

OK maybe I'm totally procrastinating. I just am tired of pricing crap! GEEZ. I just have little things that I don't know what to sell them for from the last bedroom.

Ughhhh I guess I should get started. Have a good one girls!
  • Lisa, when I got to the point of exhaustion with our yard sale, I just threw miscellaneous crap in boxes and put $1, $5, $0.25, etc. on the boxes. It helped a lot and people REALLY cleaned out those boxes!
  • Good morning everyone!

Day 2 got off to a fabulous start. I got up at 5am to cook breakfasts and make lunches for me and DH. I got in a 1/2 hour walk, put on a new outfit, and then I came to work...

From there on out it's all been downhill. I'm really feeling the effects of sugar withdrawal, or it could be that TOM is due any day. Anyway, I have no concentration at all this morning. I finally gave in and had a cup of no sugar added hot chocolate. And then I fell down the stairs at work. Only two stairs, but I landed on the concrete floor in front of our HR person and now she's after me to go get checked out by a Dr. I busted my left knee and pulled something in my back, but it's not serious. And I should know, I've falled enough over the years to know when I've really hurt myself. I wish Mom had named me Grace, then I might have had 1/2 a chance to be able to walk across flat ground without tripping.

I hope everyone else is having a great day!
  • Oh no, Dixie! I'm so sorry. I'm sure it's just your body adjusting to P1. I usually feel a little uncoordinated when I'm on P1. Hope it's not too serious!
  • Gee, Dixie...sounds like you should have just stayed home today looking in the mirror at that new outfit!! Hope you are feeling better and don't feel sore tomorrow.

I had a pretty good day at school...just had 12 little girls for about 2.5 hours until their teacher got back from a meeting. They were very good and listened well. It was their first day and not a tear from any of them...more than I can say for a couple of the Mamas, but we've all been there. Even as a teacher, I puddled up on my kids first days. 1/2 the kids came yesterday, the other 1/2 came today and all of them start tomorrow. They will not come to computer till the day after labor day, so I have another week to get all the computers working, software loaded etc.

I got home and got some work done and decided I had better go turn the sprinkler on some plants before they croaked...I picked up the sprinkler to move it before I turned it on and some "old" water came out of it . The water was so hot that it burned my hand...the top of my hand is completely red. Uh, yeah, it's a tad hot here.
  • I'm Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I have left to do is take the candles out to the garage in the morning, set up the tables, and sit for 6 hours taking people's money and watching them haul my crap away.

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to sleep tonight, knowing I have to be up at like 4:45am. Hope you girls are having a great evening.

    Lisa
