  • Kansas, I feel your pain. I took a bite of really sweet birthday cake today! Bad me!! I think you made the right decision for 5 lbs...maybe I should lower mine... JK
  • Count me in too. I am just finishing my second day of take off and I haven't WI since last Thursday, I only go once a week, so I will go with my weight at my last WI which was 151.8. My goal is to lose 6 lbs.
  • Welcome Ladies. It doesn't matter which scale you use. I like mine at home because I can weigh in the morning before eating or drinking anything and before clothes, so it is always about 1 to 1.5 pounds less than the COD. Just be sure to use the information from the same scale.

  • Count me in too, although I only have 20 days, I still need the kick in the butt to get 5 pounds off.
  • Wow Amy! You can see a huge difference in your avatar! Your face looks so thin and pretty...you were pretty before but even more so now.
  • Thanks Tina. Unfortunately I am not very photogenic. That is about the 10th pic I took and just couldn't get the hair to come in the way I wanted it to. I think I probably need to get someone else to do it for me. But that will do for now. Just wanted you guys to see the real me. )
  • AMY! You look like a completely different person! When was your old avatar photo taken, I mean at what point in your weight loss? The change is very dramatic!
  • Thanks Katy. That pic was taken about Christmas 2004 (maybe 2003) before I really needed to do WL. I gained about 10 to 15 pounds after that (175) so had to do something. I havent been this thin in probably close to 10 years. It feels great. I hope this helps motivate everyone. If I can do it, you can and it is well worth it.
  • three weeks left? uggh, I am only halfway to my 25lb goal. The past two weeks have really slowed things down. I think I can pull off 8 more lbs! I'm glad I was reminded of how little time we have left. Labor day seemed so far at the time! This is good motivation!

  • AK: Just set yourself a goal weight to lose by Labor day. We started this challenge after the 4th of July. Most of us are currently about 1/2 way there. It is just an extra incinative to stay on track.
  • Well I went for my weekly WI and I was down 2.4 lbs. Whopeeeeee!!!!! I am finally in the 140's I thought I would never see that again!!!! Hope everyone is doing good. Have a good night.

  • Hi girls! I may have to adjust my goal I had a BAD week. I gained half a pound, and then by the end of the week I managed to get it back off, so I lost NO weight last week. I have tried very hard to stay on plan since Wednesday. Hopefully my WI tomorrow shows some results. I am getting ready to choke down some Hot Lemon water. I think I have been retaining H2O because our air conditioner is BROKE at work, so we have been sitting in 89º weather!
