I wanted sooooo badly to stay in bed this morning but here I am at work. Oh, it's going to be a looonnnggg couple of days.Christmas was great but I ATE TOO MUCH!!!! What a surprise, eh? I have to say that I did better than I would have in past years but it's not going to be any consolation when I get on the scale for Saturday's weigh-in. Guess I have to start thinking about new year's resolutions. Hmmm, idea for a new thread there???

I swore I'd get up a little early and get on the treadmill before the morning shower and I was even awake early ... but just couldn't get my butt out of bed, even with Coach Rich poking at me and trying to get me moving. But it was dark and cold and I just couldn't do it. Grumble.
We did go out to Home Depot on Monday to look at doors and cabinets, etc. Latest plan is to not only knock out the wall between the kitchen and dining room but also close up the kitchen door and put french doors in the dining room. Oh I see lots of dust and noise in the near future. Maybe cleaning and organizing and throwing stuff away, etc. will keep me occupied and keep my hands out of the proverbial cookie jar???? One can only hope. It's amazing how much trouble I can get into even in an ugly torn-up gutted kitchen!!
I hope you all had a great Christmas!! Our actual Christmas Day was nice and quiet with a little turkey and lots of veggies and, unfortunately, plenty of chocolate and leftover cookies (both of which are now sitting in the cafeteria for OTHER PEOPLE to eat). Now if I can only keep myself out of the cafeteria....
Congrats to those of you (Peggy
) who made your Christmas challenges!! Start thinking about New Year's resolutions now.... Another thread could appear soon.
Anyone want to do the honors? Queen CJ maybe????Much love to you all.
Jo.

I collect "coca-cola" stuff so I got lots of items that I didn't have.
Oh well...it was sweet and I bet I'm the only woman who got one!! LOL!!
Took 8 minutes to do a quarter of a mile. Never did actually wake up. But OK, I admit I do feel better for having done it.
For the record .... YIKES!!!!!
I'm not going to be a happy camper at weigh-in tomorrow but I will go and face the music. I'm hoping the holidays were my "last hoorah" and now I can get serious about my weight loss efforts. I do however need a plan of some kind for the VFW new years party next Monday night. Hmm.....
