  • GirlyGirlS, that's wonderful that your house finally sold, ! So, did it take you long to decide on a new house to buy? This is going to be an exciting and busy next few weeks for you! I wish you the very best!

My day was going pretty well until we had an extra 45 minutes to kill between lessons this afternoon, and one of Audrey's friend's mother suggested we take the girls to The Creamery for ice cream. I did check to see if they carried a lowfat or sugar-free one, but no such luck. I just have to learn to quell my addiction!
  • Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement.. its working!!

I am starting to feel human again after being so sick over the weekend. The five hours in emerg was pretty much the highlight of my weekend, how sad is that? But, yay, I can finally breathe again!

Breezed through the day at work, and ended up leaving over food, which I will just not have to bring in tomorrow. Was excited about bringing my mini Perrier water, which I was able to enjoy out in the sun. Of course this after most of my tan has faded in record time...BOOO!

I wore pants today I haven't worn in over a year, mini triumph.

I have to say it is really great to read about everything we all have to go through on a daily basis, and it is definately a place to find inspiration in simple everyday things.

  • By doze id stupped up. I'm not sure if it's spring allergies or a cold. Whatever it is, it's kicking my butt. I must look/sound awful because all of the guys at work were telling me to go home. I don't really feel bad...I just can't breathe and my nose is running like a faucet. I'd stay home tomorrow but I have to go to a training class all day. I guess I'll get over it someday.

I've been trying to enjoy my extra long evening as both of the girls were in bed fairly early, which is a rarity on a weeknight. Instead, I'm having an argument via email with their father. Child support for the first half of May hasn't shown up yet, and it always shows up in my checking account by the 6th...apparently the state hasn't gotten it yet, but it was taken out of his check. Ugh!! I'm also trying to get him to understand that he needs to figure out a way to make time for the girls. It's a huge mess.

As a result of that stress and not being able to smell (along with some help from my nemesis PMS), I'm not eating well. Meals themselves are fine, but I'm eating way too much of the wrong things in between. Double ugh! Something's got to give sooner or later.
