salaams everyone, sorry i wasn;t around for a week or two... life got in the way!
propanalol, I sooo hear you about women working! It IS possible to work and you can find "halal jobs" if you try really hard. I have a friend who is very religious and strict on hijab and not mixing etc. She told me that she got a job as a teacher when her first child was 6 months old but gave up after 3 days because her husband told her to quit. her husband told his friend at work (another religious bro) and the guy told him off - he said if we don;t let our womenfolk work, who is going to teach our daughters?! so the husband relented and she has been teaching ever since, and she has 5 kids too ma sha Allah. and her workplace is giving them to opportunity to get a masters degree whilst working.
you can say ditto for doctors to treat the women - often the ones who shout loudest about not wanting men to treat their womenfolk are the ones who don't want their daughters to go to school or uni. grr!
AND to bring this kinda back on topic

we need nutritionists and personal trainers and kinesiologists and all the rest of it... I can really rant about women and work when I need to LOL.
I recently met a Muslimah nutritionist and am going to have a consultation with her in sha Allah. I tried low carb before and lost tons but you can;t keep that up forever, especially when you mix with Muslims. Ever been to an ISNA conference and looked for a low-carb offering in the food bazaar?
And about freezing the sweets for the kids --- no, no, no! sweets are occasional treats around here, keeping them in the house on a regular basis = DOOM. Ask me how I know

They get candy once a week ONLY otherwise they will end up like me
