Neither the girls' nor the boys' bb teams are very good this year. I guess the boys' coach is a show all by himself. In my humble opinion he is way too arrogant! I caught him making transparencies on the most used copy machine which is a
because for some reason they melt and the machine is out of commission for days waiting for new parts. He was new last year and got the training so should have known. I think he was just too lazy to walk down to the other machine in the library. Anyhow, I tattled on him to the building aide who is in charge of the machine, and she marched down to his classroom and informed him he'd better not do it again.
I don't think we've been to a game in probably 10 years since Beth graduated.Maggie -- I hope you are feeling better by now. Cute little stinker today!
I can smell your supper! YUM!
"Gma" -- Your snow will be gone long before our's is.
I guess the ground hog did see his shadow so we will have an early spring, right? I'm ready! Did you happen to see the news program on TV about how unsafe the infant car seats are? All they showed are the first ones that go with strollers and have a base thingy in the car. Of course all four of our grandchildren rode in them! We bought the stroller/car seat combo for both families and they still use the strollers. I think that is a nice gift!
Tomorrow is my day to work in the hospital gift shop so I have laundry started and will do a couple more loads tonight.
Have a nice evening and a super weekend. Keep warm or cool, whichever the case may be!

from Iowa!

Enjoy your game tonight. I have always loved the half time shows that the bands and pep clubs put on. I was in pep club when in high school and we did some neat programs. I think there were 30 of us gals in that club.
WW meeting?
No rain in the forecast. A southernly breeze blowing and a good day to BBQ. Will is going to do ribbs this afternoon and I'll bake a loaf of french bread and make a green salad. After I leave here I am going to do my DVD of walking ~ still doing the warm up session but will work up to the mile. It is amazing but I can already tell the difference in my steadiness on this uneven ground outside when I walk to the car.
Will just showed me a picture of what he is going to buy me when I reach goal to put on my red roppers: A pair of Garcia heart spurs. They are silver inlaid with jinglebobs (and cost a lot!) I am going to save that picture. They are so neat looking ~ someting to work toward.
on that pound gone. Every ounce gone is to be celebrated. I know you are a tad dissappointed because you are a bigger looser than that normally, but dear, take it and rejoice. Losing a pound a week is a very good thing. I hope T doesn't want to go to Chuckies place. Sounds like those games you got are going to please him. He is such a smart little tyke. What a kid! I saw a sweater in a magazine that I want but ~ duh ~ I could knit it. I haven't knitted in so long but it would come back. There are so many neat yarns out there now.
