I need another cup of coffee!

We're leaving in a while to go see Matt . The LORD graciously allowed my DH to be off today (he works retail ), so we're going to 'beat the Christmas rush' and the nasty weather For those who don't know, our son has been incarcerated for the last 2 years on a charge of residential burglary. He got involved with meth-and it was downhill from there ..but now he's clean and sober, and he completed his GED..so it's all good! He'll be released in just about 2 months. He goes from the prison to a halfway house, and from there...back to the real world!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. My eating has been HORRIBLE..but I'm back to WW on Tuesday (no, I'm NOT going to wait 'til the New Year!).

Hub and I both were down for the count most of a week ago with the achy, coughing, temp related flu... but I think I'm caught up, other than no one is getting Christmas cards this year except a select few because I just simply ran out of steam.

Son is going to his new gf's tomorrow... so just hub, daughter and I will be here... I'm thinking I'll pull out a chicken and leave the turkey for a bigger bunch another time.

Today is tidying up, cooking a little for tonight, getting ready for santa and when it gets dark, we will go outside and look for that beautiful star in the sky, the star of hope, the star of love.

Happy holidays and happy christmas to all my 3fc friends.....today I am doing a one hour tidy, and then we are off to xmas eve mass, followed by games and snacks with my parents and others....tomorrow is just my hubby kids and me.....I am making roast beef....then boxing day (26th) I am having a gathering here...
