Hi there!
E.z.- what is that they say wait on the Lord, I got called for an interview this morning for the job, I thought was filled, that was the info through the grapevine. I thank you for praying so hard,
I probably still won't get it. But there is still a cahance. Sorry to hear all the problems with dn mom. You and your family have been in my prayers. Your dn I am ssure will come around He did last year, He just isn't used to guideline and needs parameters. Will keep praying that the problems reside.
Angel- Thanks So much I am sorry to hear your dad passed with cancer, it can be a terrible disease. I want you to know were all behing you a100% your an awesome ladie especially with all the things you got going. Sunny Thanks ! I appreciate the pat on the back, love your graphics still. Mitchy thanks Great job on walking. I am sure your hair looks beautiful, Its long and dark anyway right, so now your highlighted, bet it looks great. Judy- Hi there probable a good decision to let things fall, that way things will return to normal and even though your right, and I probably wouldn't keep my mouth shut, either, but your daughter will figure things out as she goes along, I have been praying for the boy in the accident. You have done well since you started as well. congrats

I am down 15 lbs now- 1 more week in phase 1. Like I said I love the beach, and I guess south beach is no different ha ha ha!

Man oh man, has it been quite the day! I'll tell you later in detail but it started by getting called into the office first thing this a.m. and then talking to my dr's office.

Hi all

Well i just have to tell ya, today was a a monday! I got called into the office, first thing and of course you always think, "What did i do?" but it wasn't me at all. I think i have mentioned that I have a girl at work who makes it very difficult. She's only 22 and she's just been a snot to me. I've kind of learned to deal with her by not dealing with her. I deal w/ her professionally, am always nice to her, but I don't go out of my way for her. She also is the President's SIL and they are all family and i'm not. So my boss called me in and said that it was brought to her attention that there is trouble between us and she wanted to know what was going on. Well, i just told her the truth and she said she was so sorry, that the president(her daughter) saw it, but she didn't and that I shouldn't have to work like that and it was not acceptable and she was really sorry. I explained to her that i wanted to talk to them but after all, they made it apparent that I was not family and i wanted to keep this job. She said that they are not family when we are at work. She would handle it anyway she needed to. So she asked how i wanted it handled, talk to her privately or have the both of us and a mediator and i told her I didn't care, that I was proud of my behaviour and it wouldn't bother me to talk about it in front of her but however she wanted to handle it. So they had a talk with her and then she said we were having a group meeting which we did and then it was her and I and the 2 owners and she asked me to tell her what it has been like working here and so i told her. I was calm and i was not accusatory but i was to the point and truthful. She told her side of the story, said that I stopped talking to her. (Well ya!) And I told her, after you started reacting to me the way you do, frankly, i didn't want to talk to you. I told her that I didn't really care if she didn't like me but I expect to atleast be professional and courteous to eachother. Well, then she started crying and left the room and I felt bad, they told me not to, that she cries about everything. But I think things will be better now. I noticed her attitude was better even this afternoon. Then the bosses took us all to lunch and that was fun. So ultimately it was a good thing!

And....before our talk i talked to the Dr's nurse and I have mononucleosis! I was just flabbergasted! I knew she was testing me, but i thought there was no way i could have that. And I could have had it for i don't know how long. Actually i had another blood test taken today after work and they will determine how long i have had it. I'm glad to know there's a reason i feel so icky, but i'm not sure what to do about it. They told me i have to get lots more rest, I told her i work 6+ days a week and she said I need to rethink that, I have to get lots of fluids which isn't a problem. And all I could think about was that stupid guy i dated who asked me, "Are you tired?" oh, i was so bugged, but he was right! Ya, i'm tired, I have Mono, you fool! I don't think I can take any time off work but I will get to bed much earlier and have to just try and take better care of myself.

Have to go watch my taped Dr.Phil show and get ready for bed!

Oh, the WA guy is suppose to come out here this week through the weekend, not sure he'll even call. Maybe that's for the best.

Glad to hear you are okay Michele. It sounds like you handled the work situation with great maturity, and I bet your boss noticed too. I'm terrible in situations like that - I always cry!

Sorry to hear about your illness - if you don't mind me asking, what is mononucleosis? I've not heard of it before.

Awwwe MICHELE ~ I don't have much time right now, but just wanted to let you know that I had Mono when I was younger. It is called the "kissing disease" noooo.... not because you've been kissing - although that isn't so bad. It's because it spreads by way of kissing. It does effect your spleen and you have to be very careful. When I got it I was on complete bedrest for 10 days!

Michele, I would ask more questions if I were you and take the "resting" very seriously! Maybe look it up on the net.

Amanda~ here's a link that explains what mono is http://my.webmd.com/content/Article/7/1680_53642.htm I had to read it too cuz i had it when i was about 12, but wanted to see what I could do about it. She did tell me no contact sports and i see why now and i wonder if i do have some jaundice.

I'm wondering if i need to tell my boss cuz she has a 2 yo DD but I haven't given her a kiss in about 2 months. And there was no saliva, i know it's contagious but not that much. I don't want them to treat me like i have cooties. I almost told her today and then stopped, wanted to know more about it. I'm very curious how long i've had it, but i'll know tomorrow.

Good Tuesday Morning everyone
I sure do hope that everybody is doing okay... it has been pretty quiet here lately. I know I haven't been on as much since I became a part of the Dr. Phil Book Club.

My hubby and I got some sad news last night and that's why I never came back to post to you all (sorry). A very Dear friend, Miss Dottie, passed away at 90 yrs young! She walked her T-mill and road her exercise bike every single day till just 4 weeks ago when she took ill again. She was dying of cancer & has been for many years. Ever have someone just "light-up" when they saw YOU come in the room? That was Dottie! Whenever she would see me she would say "there's my sweetheart... how are you doing precious" Never wanting to speak of her problems and always there for yours.

A Precious Gem! She will be so missed by so many!
But now the Lord gets to enjoy her company and he surely will!

Please KNOW how Precious you are to someone out there.
And that you are always Precious to our Lord

SunnyD....I am so sorry you lost your friend. She must have been a wonderful person...according to your description. We are very fortunate to know friends as this in our lifetime. It's so hard to give them up....as I understand...I lost a dear friend this past June. Like your friend, though, I know she was prepared to be with the Lord. Although we miss them so very much...we wouldn't want to bring them back. They now have a new body, with no suffering or pain. Know that I am praying for you.

Gary~sorry about your Raiders. I saw some of the game but they were only in the 2nd quarter right before i went to bed. Sounds like it was a tough game to watch. Hope they do better next week.

I'm not going walking right now and I did get to sleep for 9 hours last night, it was tough to shut everything off at 9 pm but i have to for atleast 2 weeks and see how it goes.

Hi there! It is pouring rain-
It's my day off, and pouring out, so, guess I'm in for the day. My church has been having a mission's conference all week where the missionarys we support give their report back to the church, and usually do a bible lesson, and that has been nice.
Sunny-D So sorry to hear about your friend, it is hard when someone passes away, but so much more comforting if you know for sure they were saved. Just think she is looking on Jesus face, and being held in his arms, no more pain, worry or sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Mitchy- sorry to hear your sick but that would explain why you haven't felt well for awhile and why your always tired. I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Hi to everyone else, still praying for dn E.Z. and for Soldiers in Irag for Angel and all the others families out there. Hi to all thats been missing fromposting. Hi to amanda - still in my prayers for Nigel's job, and getting settled. God Bless all!

~sunny D~ I'm sorry to hear about your friend. She sounds like she had a big heart. I lost four friends this year to cancer. The last one was only 30 years old. He had two young kids and a lovely wife. His sister died just a month earlier from the same type cancer. She had a daughter in high school who was graduating. Her only wish was that her mom would see her get her diploma. She never made it. All were great christans.

~Angel~How is your son-in-law? We ( our sunday school class) got a letter from Iraq. SSg Don Terry Luton said that they have been commanded to stay six more months. The men are disappointed ,because the men thought they were coming home before christmas. He turned 50 this month. On his bed was a dozen cards from our class. He was very touched. Ever church should adopted a few men and there families to pray for and support. How is your daughter doing? Lot of love and prayers.

~Michele~ I'm glad you got things cleared up at work. It's not fun working in an angry environment. Your stomach gets tied in nots and you hate going into work. WOW mono take it easy. How do you even get out of bed? That takes a while to get out of your system. It takes all your energy.

~sue~ Congrats on loss 15lbs:dance; I tried the South Beach Diet,, but got headaches and felt bad on it. I knew the first two weeks were going to be hard,but I just could not stay on it. There have been alot of ladies that think its great . You have to see for yourself.

I'm glad your still in the running for that new position. Please keep us informed.
