I had a good eating day despite feeling kind of gross. I hope I can keep this up. Would like to have a good weigh-in on Monday morning!!

Well, Hello Friends!

Sorry I've been "away"; my DD and I have been "kitty-sitting" for the past 12 days and haven't really been home!

I'm glad to see all the "old" friends, and want to say to the new friends!

I've been "up and down" as far as eating and exercising goes; fortunately, with all commuting between home and "Kitty-ville", I've not fallen prey to one of my former weaknesses: eating in the car (i.e., the dreaded "fast food"!). YAY! When I started this weight-loss trip, my Doctor gave me some good advice. She said 1) Make 2 days a week completely vegetarian, and 2) DON'T EAT IN THE CAR!

Anyway, the sun was out for awhile yesterday here in MA, and now has disappeared. I'm on my way out to run errands before the Games come on (Red Sox-Yankees, and whatever NHL playoff game the networks will show here!).

I know we have some NS friends here; anyone near Sydney?

Hi everybody - just checking in, hope everyone is doing okay. I am crazy busy, but it is actually making me tired and not eating very well (PMS, too - YIKES!)... so have gained a pound (but I'll blame PMS and call it water - ).

Rehearsing now all hours for opening Thursday, so will check in again Monday morning. Still feeling lousy, but marginally better than yesterday when I just wanted to lie on the floor and sleep... there is something nasty and viral going around!

Hang in there gang! Keep moving and shaking and making good choices and hopefully it will rub off on me!!

Just got back from a cat-food run . . . these new kittens just never stop eating . . . well, not quite true; they also seem to spend a lot of time in the litter box getting rid of what they've been eating, too.

Probably won't be around tomorrow . . . have to be at the hospital for 6:30 (even though the surgery isn't until 9:00). After I get home again, I'm sure I'll just spend the afternoon sleeping. If everything goes as well with this eye as it did with the first one, I should be going strong again by Tuesday or Wednesday.
