Sad isn't it that the driving force behind getting my truck totally road-trip ready is so we can make weekly six hour round trips to Holiday World all summer isn't it? NOT. I love that place _and since I'm staying on-program, I'll have an awesome new tank suit to wear too! _

I wish I could say I enjoy being a part of the PGR but honestly I wish there was no need for it to exist, KWIM? I'd be happy to just 'do' the occassional veteran's funeral for the WWII set or so on. But it will be a long time before that's possible, I think.

mkat-I hope you will be an inspiration for your hubby! Maybe if you do the grocery shopping and don't by junk food he won't be able to eat it..haha.

clydegirl-Yes ma'am..We leave Germany the beginning of August cause our DEROS are up but we haven't a clue where we are PCSing to yet! Ugh! Gotta love the military last minute thing..Unless DH gets this special duty assignment he applied for then we won't know until May!

Hubby got an assignment to Korea on Friday.So he's decided it's time to retire. He's been in 25 years so it will be all change for us bit scary. Hope he's able to get a job.

He will retire Oct 1st. We're going to stay here and hopefully he'll be able to get a job in this area.

Hi everyone...I was wondering if you had room for one more?

I am a Navy wife, we are stationed in Hawaii (DH is at NCTAMS, we live in Honolulu), with two daughters under 2 (21 months and 6 weeks). DH and I are both on South Beach (I am working off baby weight, he is working off sympathy weight!), and have recently decided to torture ourselves walking up and down the hills at Tripler. We are both originally from South Florida, and have been stationed in Mississippi and California prior to Hawaii.

Hope to get to know all of you better!
