Of course, now he has a first baseman's glove, a fielding glove and a catcher's glove. I have my husband's old glove. But now it is getting to the point that I can't catch what my son is throwing.

I do have him signed up for the new season, so it is on its way!!! Wouldn't believe it when you walk outside and your lips freeze together, but it is coming!

I was going to look for a second hand glove, but a friend told me that I should get a brand new one and 'break it in'.... I'm not quite sure what he meant... sounded like a project, oiling it every day and wrapping the ball in it every night... was he fooling with me ? ... LOL... I thought I knew a lot of BB... And you should only use Neatsfoot oil on leather gloves. It must be true because we did that as kids before the Internet. Makes sense because it's derived from cattle to be used to treat leather.
