  • I just wish Angie would have been more into yoga positions when I was younger with energy!
  • You probably couldn't have even handled it then.

I think I could have but ya never know...it was so long ago

but like Angie says, until Mr. Right comes along I might as well stay married to my husband
  • Wow! It's starting to look like all the little Threadkillers had too much fun this weekend, eh!
  • Here in Northern California it was too darn hot to do anything but think of ways to stay cool. It's going to be hot today, too.
  • Nice here today...around 75...a little drizzle on the way home but not muggy.

Son has a huge palm tree in the front yard of his new house...wants to get rid of it..a neighbor says it is worth $10,000 if it is he is gonna sell it and use it to fix up the back yard...it may be worth it...but in this economy one never knows....we shall see.
  • Very warm and veeeery humid here in Amsterdam. Kind of makes you want to do nothing, if not less.
I just signed up for a course in silversmithing starting late September.
I am so looking forward to it! I did a bit of that many years ago and loved it. I guess it is the combination of being creative and doing something technical at the same time. FUN!
  • I think I am the thread killer....thanks Ruth
  • sorry i have been MIA for a while. had a long and busy week and weekend last week and then to find out yesterday that DS has pneumonia. so no i am going to go nuts with 2 weeks off of work. this week with my son and next due to the fact that we will be shut down for the week.
  • The past couple days have been pretty hot during the day here, but, the nights have been wonderful. Did a fire in the pit and s'mores with the girls last night. The oldest has been visiting a bit lately. The youngest's attitude seems to be improving since I've been staying home. I'm trying to just enjoy the moment and not worry about when I have to return to work. Kinda hard for a mom to do, but, I'm trying.

Hope everyone is having one helluva great week. I'll be back later to slap EZ around some.
  • Palm tree

I say , sell the darn palm tree. There is nothing messier and uglier than a palm tree in my estmation.

Ya know...I'm tired of the abuse I get here...color me gone....
  • I'mmm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkkkkk
  • Gary, you know you can never leave us. Who would abuse you the way we do ?
  • No one!! That's why I come back so quickly!!

The neighbor that told my son his tree was worth 10 grand is in the landscape business...but I told my son don't "count your chickens before the're hatched!"...I have men working for me in the drywall business for over 30 years and don't have a clue about what they are doing!!
