No its not that I dont like the way I look at this weight, but as you said, I guess I just wanted to get to 125 atleast so I had a little leeway for when I got to the next phases because I know I am going to gain a bit. Although that weight may seem really low, (and this could absolutely be part of the dysmorphia you guys are talking about and I just didnt realize I had it until now), I still have a gut!! I dont know if its due to the gassy vegetables or what but my stomach is always extended and that was the one major place I always collect all my fat!! I do work out every night for an hour, nothing crazy just 1/2 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of strength training but nothing too intense. I did get my blood work back from the doc and she did say that my bodyfat was 13% (is that real low?), she said it was athlete level and that is why I dont get my period and that I needed to go on the pill to get estrogen back in my body to prevent bone loss and premenapause (she knows I would still like to have one more child soon), and that I either do that or start eating carbs to get my period back and she realized I wasnt in any hurry to eat the carbs so she said go on the pill immediately , she said her main concern was just getting my period back. I explained all this to my dietician who I see for IP, (she also felt I still had 5-10 pounds to go before going to the next phase so I was just following her advice), and she wrote directly to the IP doctor to get his advice.I got his response this morning and he said the same thing to get back on the pill and get my period and then maybe the scale will budge again but that due to the leack of estrogen, my body was going to hold onto everything it could no matter how many carbs I restrict, it wasnt going to go any further. That was a relief to me because I thought the plateau was something I was doing wrong and they reassured me today it wasnt and that after I get my period again (the scale will be up and down for a few weeks until I am back to normal), the program should start working again for me as far as losing the last 5 lbs. I appreciate all your support and advice, it to help me realize that I should stop fretting and that I probably do have a huge case of the body dysmorphia because I get compliments all the time but I just dont see the thinness in the mirror, I still see chunky!! Thanks again guys!
I'm glad you saw the Dr. and they figured it out. Yes 13% is VERY low for a woman. My son, who is 21, 6' and 140 lbs. has 9% body fat. And he looks all muscle and bones to me, even though he eats like a sow. Well, good luck from here on out. You'll do it.
