  • When I complete this weight loss and begin to maintain, I would first like to see it for myself. Next I would like to see my son's face when he sees me thin because he has always known me as fat and been somewhat ashamed of it when in grade school. He is 23 now but still wishes I would lose the weight and get healthy. After that, I would like to show my two best friends what I can achieve when I put my mind to it and what they could do if they decided to do it. Finally, I admit, I would like my ex to accidentally see me, maybe at an annyversiary lunch for our son or something like that when it would be unexpected. That would be fun!
  • Who: All family on my mother's side, including my two sisters (both skinny)

Why: I distinctly remember my grandparent's anniversary party and I had gone into the bathroom and one of my mother's aunts came to me and said, "your sisters look so good, what happened to you?" I ran out of there so upset. That is one thing that will never leave my memory. I grew up being bigger that both my sisters all my life and my family constantly reminding me that I was getting overweight. "You look like you're getting bigger." I am so tired of being looked at as if I'm a side show.

When I reach my goal, I want to walk into a party and have people not recognize me because I look so good. In my mind I'd be thinking, "now who's fat", but of course I'm better than them so I don't need to say anything. The look on their faces will be enough. I can't wait for that day.
  • Ultimately, I just want to look good and feel better for myself! Also, for my boyfriend Andrew. I know that he DOESN'T care about how I look or how much I weigh...but I want to feel SEXY and not be ashamed to go out and DO THINGS so much. And I'll admit, it wouldn't be terrible if I ran into a lot of the people that used to torture me for being fat in high school. And maybe the guys that shunned me in the past...just to mess with them! Andrew is my motivation, completely. He weighed in at 380 pounds at his heaviest, and has managed to get down to 235, and maintained it for almost a year now! He's also weight lifting, and boy is he gaining some muscle! hehe...He knows where I'm at, and is constantly motivating me when I feel down. I want this so much, so we can have a longer, happier life together!
  • Every-FRICKIN'-Body!!
I want to show everbody. Especially people who have made dumb comments about me gaining weight and I want to go back to Florida and show all my old friends. And I want to look good for my husband who has never complained or hassled me about my weight. I love him so much!
  • Well it has to be my ex-hubby, of whom I came home from work one evening to find sneakily watching a rather tasteless video, and then proclaiming "why Can't you look like one of these gals or better yet your friend Sara, she looks great in lingerie.....errrr....." (talk about letting a secret slip!)
Divorce was finalized 5 months later
    Ex-Best friend married Ex-hubby
2 years later Sara got fat /grin
OoOooohhh I want to rub salt in that wound SO badly!
  • What!
Not to get off subject but, Diane, I think your husband wanted that to "slip" !

What an hole! But, he got what he deserved didn't he. Tell us when you lose your weight and the look on his sorry little face when he sees you! Ahh, gratification will be yours!
