This might should weird but you might have chemical in you skins that disturbs the mechanics of the ped. A good friends of might carries a high amount of some mineral in her skin that interfers with watches. No matter what, they break after a month and her skin eats gold so its only platnium for her. Her doctor ran some test and I think she had a really high amount of alklines that's not harmful she just can't wear gold or small mechnics.

3 more miles to add (I just ran two miles and walked one!). This group is amazing!! I can't believe how much some of you walk. This is great!

I have 2 miles to add for today!

I've got 2.5 miles to add to today's total. I wanted to get out there because I don't know if I'll get much walking done tomorrow. We're supposed to have some thunderstorms. I don't have a pedometer so I can't really do my inside walking. Maybe my mom has one laying around the house. Anyways, this is really great. I'm so glad I joined.

Blyn, I just ordered the Omron HJ-112 from Amazon... got it for $25 including shipping. I was going to get it off eBay but for some reason they are saying my password is bad (it isn't) and the Help section couldn't respond for 24 hours sheesh!

Start, wow I hope that is not the case with my not being able to use a pedometer! I do have allergies to metal and can't wear much regular jewelry at all. Hopefully the Omron will solve the problem!

Hi Dee and everyone... again

Hey I think it is normal if our mileage starts to slow down a bit... LOL we kicked this thing off at an "insane" pace LOL. I couldn't believe I managed to do my walking today even though I felt so bad! At lunch I walked to Home Depot and got a "broomstick" for a pole to do my exercises with.

I also found a horrible picture that someone took of me a while back that I am saving for a "before" picture although I don't know I will ever get the nerve to post it LOL. Also, I thought of one friend I can get to take pictures of me on a monthly basis or so, so I can have progress pix. I am not embarrassed to ask her to do it!

2 more miles today - walking this time.

is there a particular format I should be using to record this? just checkin'... I went back and read lots of the posts but maybe I missed something?

I noticed I had not been doing it too so am trying to remember, to make it easier for her to keep score!!

I definitely did better today. I actually got up a bit before 5 and let the doggies out, and then walked 2 miles. That will be all that I get in today, as I am going to do my BL workout, and my kids have hockey practice tonight. So:

I didn't walk on the mill yesterday but attended my yoga class. I'll log some miles in this afternoon.

I am feeling great.. both inside and out.

Wow, Michele, 7.5 miles, that is awesome!! One-derland is not far off for you but I can see why it would be discouraging not to be getting there faster with all you are doing! Bet you are building all kinds of muscle and that is why the weight loss is not showing up on the scale!!

My miles have been horrible this week. I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise. And after barely sleeping at all last night, today I'll be lucky if I do even the least bit of exercise.
