One of the guys here at work has lost 20 lbs. on South Beach. He now weighs exactly what I do. Why am I fat and he's skinny? I sure as h*ll didn't tell him that we weighed the same. I'm starting to think he getting a little anorexic. He's short, but not that short. He really didn't need to lose weight, he just went along with it to support his wife. Isn't this a dumb reason to diet?

Nothing like a road trip to trigger divorce.

I'm taking tomorrow off. I'm going to plant a new clematis. I'm going to haul some more rocks for my pond. I'm going to transplant some astilbe. I'm going to be hurting on thursday. It's supposed to be a beautiful sunny spring day tomorrow. Can't wait.

DH took today off and went fishing. He caught a salmon. I hope he has it cooked by the time I get home.

Cookie-- I think we only met briefly...I'm sorry about your loss... and re-gain. DH and I were talking about how we both eat for solace and comfort and even entertainment... And since it's our 2nd marriage we know better than to nag each other... but it is still hard.

Kiwi/Chips Michelob!! Hope your sunburn retreats and that you enjoy the colleges. My alma mater has a free screen saver. I wish I'd been smart enough to appreciate the beautiful campus (and friendly profs) when I was there.

Cowie-- DS will have a blast with Japanese. If he wants to e-mail or IM my son, who went to Japanese camp there for 6 years and was a camp cook/counselor for 2 more... let me know.... Be sure to get the strongest mosquito repellant you can find!!! Mori No Ike rocks!
