But I too hate having pain after each run.
Last night I ran
5.4 Miles, swam for about 2 hours, did weighted squats (on rack), unweighted lunges, pullups...felt GREAT! This morning I have pain in left knee, but not excrutiating like it usually is (the day after run).
Ncuneo - Just wanted to thank you again for the MSM, Glucosamine recommendation. Turns out my old multi has both of them in it. I restarted taking them for the past 2 weeks and I must say I believe it's helping. My pain this morning was just a slight soreness instead of throbbing pain.
I did, however, go for a late night swim immediately after my run, followed by a nice hot jacuzzi soak, so that could have helped also.
In any event...I'm gonna start focusing more on building my hamstring muscles up through lots and lots of squats. My butt and legs are sooooo sore today. I especially love that my butt is sore (means it's getting worked..lol)! My new goal...BUILD MUSCLE...have legs like Cory Everson (famous bb'r) and a butt like Jennifer Lopez (famous singer/actor).
