So, I need to keep coconut milk in the house and I need something else, just in case. Prefrably chocolate. I keep reading about people having a square of the 73% or higher stuff, but seriously, a square? Me? One square? I'm more a rectangle guy. The kind of rectangles that have 18 squares in them.
Suggestions?
I bet the tomatoes triggered that, just my guess. I have to careful of the higher carb veggies, that cause me to stare at the pantry and fridge looking for something to cure the craving.
I like the lindt 90% choc bars for those moments. 1/2 the bar is 17g I think so I can usually get away with 2 of the 8 squares and some heavy cream or almond butter with it and I'm good. You better stock up for next time!
I used to love those MetRx bars, they were a good snack for me, I imagine now I wouldn't like them either and if you're gonna blow the crabs better make it on something worth it.
Have you made coconut oil/cocoa "truffles?" those help with the munchies.
Another good Primal day yesterday, I made those double-down burgers that someone had posted on MDA the other day. So good! I caramelized red onion with port. mushrooms and added some heat to the patties and we were in greasy burger heaven, we had it dripping down our hands...I never would have done that pre-primal.
Then last night before bed I did my killer wkout posted yesterday, yep! that is for people who are crazy! Who does 3 min of pushup, I did 1 min then modified for 1 min then ultra modified for the last min. I'm feeling my biceps and shoulders today, every movement is torture. But I am sick, I love when I feel my muscles getting stronger, its a good hurt! I was paralyzed in my left arm for 6 months when I was 15 from a horseback riding accident so I guess I'm always thankful I can do the pushups, even if they hurt later.
